Machapuchhre Model Trek is a new trek in Annapurna region .which is focus developing community based tourism Model on Machhapuchhre model trek route in Annapurna region.This trek has just completed  and launched now.The trek launched and handover the village development committee on 10 of October by Swiss Ambassador and Tourism Minister.Swiss Ambassador to Nepal Thomas Gass expressed his happiness over developing a new trekking trail on the assistance of a Swiss agency to commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Switzerland. “Nepal is celebrating 2011 as Nepal Tourism Year. It is an opportunity for Nepal to showcase its new facets of tourism. Nepal can be winner in the race of Eco-tourism products in international arena,” he added. Government officials, representatives of travel trade associations, travel trade people and media persons attended the program . The program was supported by Nepal Tourism Board and Annapurna Conservation Area Project/Nepal Trust for Nature Conservation. This trek can  do with camping in five days .It has five camp-side and five Porters shelter.

Day 1: Fly or Drive to Pokhara and overnight in Pokhara.

Day 2: Drive to Ghachowk and trek to Tushe

Day 3: Trek to hile

Day 4 : Hile to Khumai

Day 5 : Khumai to Korchon

Day 6: Trek to Meshrum Kharka

Day 7 : Trek to Saidi ghatta

Day 8 : Drive back to Pokhara


  • Airport pick-up and drop off by private vehicle.
  • Three nights in your selected Kathmandu hotel with breakfast before trek two nights and after trek one night.
  • A full day’s sightseeing in Kathmandu by private vehicle.
